I'm a Partner at a boutique strategy firm with over 15 years of consulting experience.

When I left a top-tier firm to build my own business, one of the things I missed was the custom-built Microsoft Office productivity tooling that I had available there.

Hence, JTools was born to make life of my consultants (including myself) better when building PowerPoint presentations.

The two design principles are simple:

  1. Have as many often-used PowerPoint functionalities as possible on one ribbon, and
  2. Provide additional functionalities that would otherwise require countless mouse movements and clicks.

Over the years, JTools has developed into the PowerPoint add-in it is today based on years of user feedback. In parallel, more and more people outside of our company started to ask about JTools, and consultants that left us for other career opportunities started to say things like:

The one thing I truly miss - apart from the great people and projects of course - is JTools...

... Can I have it?

Well, say no more. I just released JTools to the general public.

Oh, one more thing. If you want more information, want to try JTools, have suggestions for functionalities, and/ or just want to leave a compliment, just send a mail to jtools[at]smartspark[dot]world.
